HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Patricia Friedman. For literally decades, I have had a great passion for all things in the kitchen, from preparing my first family gourmet meal at 15, to baking and serving dozens of cakes and desserts for over 150 at a church event. After endless conversations with family and friends about starting a baking business, I enrolled in Sacramento's American River College culinary program taking night and weekend classes while working full time.
A few years later, in March 2012, with tremendous encouragement and support from those family members and friends, not to mention some fabulous chef instructors, I launched my made-to-order baking service and catering business. As the owner and sole baker, I prepare delectable layer cakes/tortes, both American and European, cupcakes, bars, cookies, pastries and other scrumptious confections. SALTED VANILLA CARAMELS, my specialty, are the most popular item on my menu. Over the years I added three other great flavors: Chai Spice, Espresso Chocolate and Lavender Vanilla.
From 2013 to 2015, I explored the world of outdoor markets and became a weekly vendor at the Historic Folsom Farmers' Market. In addition to the caramels, I introduced the local public to selected, handcrafted sweets: Honey Sesame Bars, Salted Caramel Fudge Brownies, and Molasses Ginger Guinness Cupcakes.
Currently, I fill orders from my LOCAL MENU, as well as promote "dessert catering for the smaller crowd" with options for full-service CATERING or delivery and set-up service.
