HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Patricia Friedman. For literally decades, I have had a great passion for all things in the kitchen, from preparing my first family gourmet meal at 15, to baking and serving dozens of cakes and desserts for over 150 at a church event. After endless conversations with family and friends about starting a baking business, I enrolled in Sacramento's American River College culinary program taking night and weekend classes while working full time.
A few years later, in March 2012, with tremendous encouragement and support from those family members and friends, not to mention some fabulous chef instructors, I launched my made-to-order baking service and catering business. As the owner and sole baker, I prepare delectable layer cakes/tortes, both American and European, cupcakes, bars, cookies, pastries and other scrumptious confections. My specialty, SALTED VANILLA CARAMELS are the most popular of all my treats. Over the years I added three other great flavors: Chai Spice, Espresso Chocolate and Lavender Vanilla.
From 2013 to 2015, I explored the world of outdoor markets and became a weekly vendor at the Historic Folsom Farmers' Market. I introduced the local public to select handcrafted sweets such as: Honey Sesame Bars, Salted Caramel Fudge Brownies, Pecan Blondies, Carrot Cake cupcakes, Molasses Ginger Guinness Cupcakes and, of course, all caramel flavors. Currently, as I fill orders from my LOCAL MENU, I also promote "dessert catering for the smaller crowd" with options for full-service CATERING or just delivery and set-up service.
