HELLO EVERYONE! My name is Patricia Friedman. For literally decades, I have had a great passion for all things in the kitchen, from preparing my first family gourmet meal at 15, to baking and serving over a dozen cakes and desserts for a 150 plus church event. After endless conversations with family and friends about starting a baking business, I enrolled in Sacramento's American River College culinary program taking night and weekend classes while working full time.
A few years later, in March 2012, with tremendous encouragement and support from those family members and friends, not to mention some fabulous chef instructors, I launched my made-to-order baking service and catering business using a commercial kitchen in Folsom, California. I am the sole owner and baker, preparing delectable layer cakes (American and European tortes), cupcakes, bars, cookies pastries and other scrumptious confections. Although I love cake baking, my specialty is Salted Vanilla Caramels, which are the most popular of all my treats! Over time I have added three other great flavors: Chai Spice, Lavender Vanilla and Espresso Chocolate.
From 2013 to 2015, I explored the world of outdoor markets and became a weekly vendor at the Historic Folsom Farmers' Market. I introduced the local public to handcrafted sweets such as Honey Sesame Bars, Salted Caramel Fudge Brownies, Pecan Blondies, Carrot Cake, Molasses Ginger Guinness Cupcakes and, of course, my signature SALTED VANILLA CARAMELS!
As I fill orders from my LOCAL MENU, I also promote "dessert catering for the smaller crowd" with options for full-service catering or delivery and set-up service only.
